HOUSING PROGRAM:
A CORNERSTONE OF VISION 2030
Achieving a "Vibrant Society" is a key pillar of Vision 2030. To support this objective, an enabling housing ecosystem was created, with the Housing Program launched in 2018 as a central element of national initiatives. Its strategic goal is to provide suitable homeownership opportunities for Saudi families.

HOUSING PROGRAM: ENABLING PROSPEROUS LIVING
As one of Vision 2030's executive programs, the Housing Program was launched to deliver housing solutions that empower Saudi families to own suitable homes, whether through ownership or usufruct systems, tailored to their needs and financial capabilities. This initiative works hand-in-hand with efforts to expand housing options through partnerships with the private sector. The program seeks to provide specialized housing programs for society's most vulnerable segments, develop legislative and regulatory frameworks for the housing sector, increase economic impact, enhance private sector attractiveness and develop local content.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE KINGDOM'S HOUSING SECTOR: AN UNPRECEDENTED SUCCESS STORY
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has witnessed a remarkable transformation in the housing sector, earning recognition as a leader in this field, as highlighted in the IMF's Article IV Consultation Report for 2024. The report commends the sector's progress, which has significantly contributed to economic development and investment attraction under wise leadership. Key achievements include a notable increase in citizens' home ownership rates, higher satisfaction levels among beneficiaries with the provided services, diversification of available housing options, and the launch of numerous qualitative initiatives offering innovative housing and financing solutions tailored to citizens' needs. These milestones were accomplished through the Sakani Initiative (a key Housing Program initiative), financing options provided by the Real Estate Development Fund, and regulatory frameworks established by the Real Estate General Authority.

These accomplishments represent significant strides toward achieving the Housing Program's strategic objective of enabling home ownership opportunities for Saudi families, with a target of reaching 70% by the end of 2030, including:
• Saudi household home ownership rate exceeded 63% in 2024 compared to 2016.
• The Housing Program launched 69 initiatives, completed 56 initiatives, and is currently working on 13 initiatives, all of which are on track.

REAL ESTATE FUTURE FORUM
Riyadh will host the fourth edition of the Real Estate Future Forum, sponsored by the Real Estate General Authority in partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, from January 27 to 29, 2025, under the theme "Future for Humanity: Shaping Dreams into Reality.” The Forum will feature participation from over 120 countries and 500 speakers representing both public and private sectors, alongside distinguished economists, investors, decision-makers, and real estate sector experts at both local and international levels.
