As Part of Riyadh Season: The Dog Festival Returns After Last Year’s Great Success

Following its tremendous success last year, the Dog Festival is making a grand return as part of Riyadh Season 2024.

Scheduled to take place from December 2 to December 7 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, the festival will be open daily from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, featuring over 1,000 dogs in various exciting events.

The festival will host several thrilling competitions, including five main categories: Saluki races, agility dog races, working dog races, a dog beauty contest, and K9 shows.

Additional entertainment activities include dog fashion shows, grooming demonstrations, a dog park, and a unique sheepdog demonstration. Visitors can also enjoy side attractions such as cat shows, Harley-Davidson motorcycle displays, and classic car exhibitions, adding an extra layer of excitement and diversity to the festival.

The event will offer comprehensive facilities and services, including a dedicated dog club, diverse restaurants and cafes, retail shops, and fully equipped health clinics to ensure proper care for participating dogs.

The festival aims to educate the public about different dog breeds, encourage participation and responsible pet care, attract international participants, and provide a family-friendly experience that appeals to all ages.
