The National Portal for Hobbies “Hawi,” part of the Quality-of-Life Program initiatives, introduces the launch of the "Hawi Application." It aims to meet the needs of enthusiasts, citizens, and residents across all cities and governorates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing a variety of enhanced and unique services. Commencing on Thursday, December 14, 2023, under the theme 'You have a hobby... we have an application,' the app is designed to facilitate and empower individuals in the pursuit of their unique hobbies, catering to a wide range of age groups. This initiative is focused on enhancing the growth of the hobby sector in the Kingdom while delivering comprehensive support to nurture a dynamic, engaged, and impactful society, aligning with the aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030.

On this occasion, Tariq bin Adnan Al-Ghourabi, Director General of the Hobby Development Sector at the Quality-of-Life Program Center, said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of the new 'Hawi' application, which encompasses a range of unique services aimed at streamlining and enhancing the user experience. Our goal is to create a pleasant and stimulating environment for individuals within the community, including citizens and residents of the Kingdom. The app encourages people to explore and cultivate their hobbies, contributing to the ongoing efforts to develop and activate the hobby sector. This initiative is in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically in the areas of improving the quality of life."

Al-Ghourabi further commented, "The enhanced version of the 'Hawi' application introduces 14 services, including Hawi experiences, club enrollment and establishment, active participation, event access, club marketing, enrollment in training courses, booking facilities and spaces, availability of tools, club competitions, forging partnerships and sponsorships, obtaining letters and approvals, access to volunteer services, and management of club finances. These services are designed to provide users with a more immersive and educational experience as they explore and develop their hobbies. The application offers a personalized touch, allowing users to tailor their experience based on their specific hobby areas. Hobbyists can easily keep track of hobby-related activities and events, enabling them to stay informed and engaged in opportunities that align with their interests."

Alongside the launching of the new application, the "Hawi" pavilion, scheduled for a three-day duration (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) on Riyadh City Boulevard, provides the public with the chance to acquaint themselves with the features and services of the new Hawi application. Attendees can actively engage in a variety of interactive and live experiences across multiple hobbies during the event.

It is worth noting that "Hawi" serves as the regulating body for the formation and registration of amateur clubs, as well as the participation in hobbies by citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of various ages. Its principal objective, according to Vision 2030, is to strengthen and promote the hobby sector in the Kingdom through the partnership of 12 government entities.
