BMX Freestyle World Cup in Diriyah

Diriyah, the historic heart of the Kingdom, will host the first-ever BMX Freestyle World Cup, at the Elite Sports Center in the historic governorate of Diriyah, from February 10 to 18, 2023 as part of the events of the Diriyah Urban Festival of the Diriyah Season.

The top male and female cyclists, parkour athletes, skaters, and break-dancers will compete on a unique, fully equipped court in Diriyah. Diriyah will be one of six stops on the World Cup Tours for BMX shows, along with two stops in Montpellier, France, and Brussels, Belgium, and three more stops that will be decided later.

Enthusiasm will reach its peak at the start of the BMX Freestyle World Cup on February 15, which will take place for the first time in Saudi Arabia with the participation of male and female athletes from more than 25 countries.

There will also be exclusive sports events, shows, demos, and a variety of accompanying events, including live music ("DJ"), meeting and greeting athletes, restaurants, shops, games, and skating, and allocating spaces for fans and amateurs of urban sports to practice their hobbies, in addition to presentations and interesting workshops.

Kenny Belaey, the Belgian cyclist and the nine-time bike mountain trials world champion, will also be present to perform many exciting and terrific shows and give fans the opportunity to watch and closely follow the excitement of these global shows that allow young people to interact directly with them.
