Naseej, a leading Saudi technology company is showcasing, during its participation as a "Bronze" sponsor in "Leap 23", its cloud platform "MEDAD", which was developed by Naseej as an innovative local product through which it aspires to serve millions of beneficiaries locally and globally by targeting the education, learning and knowledge management market. MEDAD Cloud Platform enables universities, colleges, higher education institutions, government agencies, and companies to align their academic, administrative, and training procedures with the latest technologies, as well as support their digital transformation initiatives, thus paving the way for creativity and institutional innovation. This will be carried out as part of an integrated platform and modern technology architecture via a cloud service that is managed through best practices, subject to the highest standards of security and operational reliability. Naseej launched MEDAD platform at the end of 2021, and by the end of 2022 it was serving more than 70 institutions, and more than 500,000 students and researchers in several countries of the region.
For his part, the CEO and Managing Director of Naseej, Eng. Abdul-Jabbar Abdul-Jabbar, said, "Naseej has worked with hundreds of universities and educational and cultural institutions for years, and what we have seen of the real needs of these institutions and the beneficiaries of their services (students and researchers), led us to develop MEDAD cloud platforms inspired by the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which prompted us to work on developing modern solutions that compete with the best global solutions. We are pleased with what MEDAD platform has achieved in its first year in which it gained the trust of more than seventy local and regional institutions from among the major educational and cultural institutions, and we are aspiring to carry MEDAD platforms to the global markets in the few coming years.”
Al-Abdul-Jabbar also added that the size of the global educational technology market is estimated to reach about $404 billion by 2025 and according to studies by HolinIQ International, it is growing at a rate of 16.3% annually. Studies indicate that the adoption of cloud services in educational institutions is growing at a very high speed. Gartner estimates that more than 49% of the world educational institutions are in the process of moving to cloud services by 2023. These indicators constitute a strong motive for a promising future with MEDAD platform as nearly 30% of the sales of MEDAD platform are taking place outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (GCC and broader Arab World).
Naseej was established in 1989, and is currently listed on the Nomu parallel trading market. It is considered one of the leading regional technology companies in digital transformation solutions and electronic service platforms, which are characterized by comprehensiveness and as companies that are speeding up the pace of digital transformation among their customers while reducing the technical burden on them which will enable them to focus their efforts and resources on the achievement of their strategic goals. In 2021, Naseej’s regional market sales accounted for about 41% of its total sales.
