The Saudi Export-Import Bank has achieved a new milestone in its development journey, with total credit facilities provided since its inception exceeding SAR 150 billion. This reflects the Bank’s growing role in enabling the growth of Saudi non-oil exports, enhancing their competitiveness, and extending their reach across global markets.

This milestone builds on the rapid growth of the Bank’s operations, with more than SAR 50 billion in credit facilities provided over an 18-month period and the announcement last year that its credit facilities had reached SAR 100 billion, underscoring the Bank’s commitment to accelerating the pace of its operations to achieve economic and development objectives.

This growth also confirms the Bank’s pivotal role and impact in enabling Saudi non-oil exports, through an integrated credit solutions such as export financing, guarantees, and export credit insurance for local exporters, international buyers, and local and international financial institutions—bridging financing gaps and managing risks in global trade.

Commenting on this achievement, Saudi EXIM CEO, H.E. Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Alkhalb, said:
“This rapid growth in the provision of credit facilities is a clear testament to the unlimited support of our wise leadership for advancing sustainable development. As a development institution dedicated to enabling Saudi non-oil exports in line with Saudi Vision 2030, the Bank follows a clear strategy focused on delivering integrated credit solutions according to the requirements of international trade and markets and meet the needs of exporting businesses of all sizes, strengthening their ability to compete and expand in markets worldwide.”

H.E. the CEO added: “We view this milestone as a new step that drives us to continue expanding the Bank’s impact in providing credit solutions, and strengthening our local and international partnerships, thus enabling Saudi companies to confidently access global markets, and maximizing the economic impact of non-oil exports, in addition to unlocking new opportunities for Saudi products and services in global markets.

Saudi EXIM operates under the supervision of the National Development Fund (NDF) and aims to develop Saudi non-oil exports and enhance their competitiveness in global markets with financing, guarantees, and export credit insurance solutions that help bridge financing gaps, mitigate export risks, support national economic diversification, and advance the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
