Mr. Khalid bin Abdullah AlBaker, CEO of the Quality-of-Life Program, a key initiative under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, recently met with several heads of Hawi clubs in the Tabuk region. The meeting focused on brainstorming development ideas and proposals aimed at enhancing the user experience of the Hawi platform beneficiaries. This underscores the Quality-of-Life Program's commitment to addressing club-related challenges and gathering insights into their needs and suggestions for sectoral improvement. Additionally, Mr. Tareq bin Adnan Al-Ghourabi, the General Director of the Hobby Development Sector within the Quality-of-Life Program, attended the meeting.

During his visit to the Tabuk region, Mr. AlBakr acknowledged the thoughtful attention given by the wise leadership to the hobby sector, and he expressed gratitude for the ongoing guidance from His Royal Highness Prince Fahad bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Tabuk, and His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Saud bin Abdullah Al-Faisal, Deputy Emir of the region.

Moreover, he highlighted Tabuk's abundance of youthful energy and diverse hobbies, as well as its favorable environment and resources for various activities. With over 25 clubs hosting more than 45 events and over 1,300 members, Mr. AlBakr encouraged the youth of the region, regardless of gender, to engage with and establish hobby clubs through the Hawi application to benefit from its many services.

AlBakr emphasized that the meeting with the heads of the Hawi clubs aims to inspire hobby clubs and raise community awareness about engaging in various hobbies, aligning with the strategy of the Quality-of-Life Program for the hobby sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030. He elaborated that the program targets reaching over 6,000 amateur clubs nationwide by 2030.

It's worth noting that the hobby sector in the Kingdom has experienced rapid growth since the responsibility for the sector was entrusted to the Quality-of-Life Program. Together with 12 government bodies, they established Hawi, the umbrella organization dedicated to the hobby sector. Hawi works to provide support and empowerment to hobbyists of all genders in various activities while continuously promoting the importance of engaging in them.
