Inside the Holy Ka'ba, are three blackish brown wooden pillars that are made from the strongest kind of wood, each on an engraved wooden square base. The pillars reach to the first ceiling of the Ka'ba, and are reinforced with multiple stacks of wood on the top of these pillars from the inside of the two ceilings, to withstand the upper ceiling of the Ka'ba as well.

Circumference of each pillar: 150cm

Diameter of each pillar: 44cm

The three pillars are over 1350 years old, and they were placed by the prophet's companion (Abdullah ibn Al-Zubair). Hanged between the pillars are some of the gifts for the Holy Ka'ba. There are three collars in each pillar to strengthen it, and there is a carrier that extends between the pillars, with each end reaching into the northern and southern walls.
