EGYPT’S HIPHOP STAR WEGZ SET TO TAKE THE STAGE AT THE RED SEA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

As film lovers enjoy the Red Sea International Film Festival at the biggest cinematic event of the year, the Festival announces Egypt’s leading hip-hop star Wegz at an exclusive concert nestled on Jeddah Corniche Al Hamra, on the 7th of December.

from Alexandria's grassroot hip-hop scene to the world – WEGZ is one of contemporary Arabic music’s most recognised icons. At just 19 years, he began paving his way to the top with catchy flows and raw, emotional, and relatable lyrics that struck a chord with an entire generation of Egyptian youth. Now, WEGZ is a global pioneer for an Arabic sonic revolution that is taking the world by storm and amassing millions of fans in its wake.

The festival has raised its curtains for its second edition on the 1st of December and will run until the 10th of December with an exciting line-up of concerts accompanying the extraordinary red carpet and exciting film programs. All concerts will be taking place at the Red Sea Outdoor at AlHamra Corniche from 10pm onwards. Tickets for the concerts will be available for purchase at 40SAR per ticket.
