The 2024 Saudi Falcons Club Auction, hosted at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, is continuing its nightly events until November 15.
The auction runs alongside the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition, drawing a large audience of falconry, hunting, and outdoor enthusiasts.
On Monday, a *Shaheen* falcon, captured in Al-Qunfudhah by falconer Atiyah Al-Shehabi, was the highlight of the night.
Bidding for the bird began at 50,000 SAR and escalated amid intense competition before concluding at an impressive 147,000 SAR.
The Saudi Falcons Club offers a wide range of services and support to falconers during the trapping season.
The club’s teams operate across various regions—eastern, northern, northwestern, and southwestern—to assist falconers by providing accommodation, transportation, and facilitating their participation in the auction.
Falcons are presented in live, fast-paced auctions broadcast on television and through the club’s social media platforms.
Regarded as the largest official falcon auction in Saudi Arabia, the event plays a key role in preserving and promoting the Kingdom’s cultural and economic heritage.
It also aligns with Vision 2030 by supporting falconry-related activities, which are integral to Saudi Arabia’s rich traditions.
The Saudi Falcons Club strives to elevate the standards of falcon auctions in the Kingdom, positioning itself as a premier destination for falconry enthusiasts and breeders globally.
The club is committed to regulating falcon sales and purchases, while also safeguarding endangered falcon species by preventing their trade and raising awareness about their conservation.
