Saudi Minister of Finance Participates in 2024 Berlin Global Dialogue

His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan,participated in the 2024 Berlin Global Dialogue, held October 1-2, 2024, along with a number of government and business leaders who convened on the campus of the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in the German capital, Berlin.
During his participation in a session entitled, 'How to Mobilize Private Investments for Innovation and Industrial Transformation', Minister Aljadaan said that the important factors for sustainable growth are long-term planning, stable and predictable policies, and Public-PrivatePartnerships (PPP).
He noted that we need to make sure that global dialogue continues through multilateral institutions so we have a proper place to discuss important global issues.
Minister Aljadaan also stressed the need to invest in sustaining and strengthening the multilateral trading system, which would reduce economic risks and challenges, while helping to ensure equitable growth within societies.
He said that Saudi Arabia is utilizing its competitive advantage in technology to not only serve the Kingdom’s interests but also achieve the interests of other nations.
'We cannot have prosperity in the world without a very clear environment that supports innovation and technology and then sharing them, particularly with low-income nations and the emerging markets,' Minister Aljadaan said.
Minister Aljadaan also engaged in a number of conversations with government officials and major international investors to discuss ways of cooperating and partnering with Saudi Arabia, strengthening the role of the Kingdom's leadership presence in various international events.
The theme of the Berlin Global Dialogue this year was 'Building Common Ground” and aims to provide a platform for communication and dialogue between government leaders, entrepreneurs, and academics from around the world to discuss the economic challenges facing the world and formulate appropriate policies and solutions to meet these challenges.
