They are the pillars that hold the domes in the Holy Rawdah, and they are the first built landmarks of the Prophet's Mosque related to the events of the Prophetic biography.
The pillars were placed during the construction of the Prophet's Mosque, they were replaced with stone pillars after being made of palm trunks.

The Perfumed pillar
- Location: Adjacent to the Mihrab of the Prophet on the direction of the Qiblah.
- It is called the pillar of the Qur'an and it was moved to the direction of the Qiblah and partially included in the Mihrab of the Prophet.
The Pillar of Aisha
- Location: third from the Pulpit, third from the tomb side, and third from the Qiblah side.
- It is one of the most important pillars, and it is also called Pillar of Casting Lots, and Pillar of the Emigrants.
Pillar of Repentance
- Location: fourth from the Pulpit, second from the tomb. And third from the Qiblah side.
- Also known as the Pillar of Abu Lubabah, after the companion Abu Lubabah ibn Abd al-Mundhir.
The Fourth Pillar (The Pillar of the Bed)
- Location: Adjacent to the window overlooking the Holy Rawdah.
- Currently the pillar is not fully visible, as part of it is inside the window.
The Fifth Pillar (Pillar of the Guard)
- Location: behind the Pillar of the Bed on the north side.
- It's also known as the Pillar of Ali ibn Abi Talib.
The Pillar of Delegations
- Location: behind the Pillar of the Guard on the north side
- It's also known as 'Majlis al-Qiladah'
