During the First Forum of Human Fraternity "Dialogue for Coexistence"

King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue reviews the Kingdom's efforts and contributions to promoting human fraternity

King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue intends to organize the first forum for human fraternity, “Dialogue for Coexistence 2023,” with the participation of a number of their Royal Highnesses, Excellencies, academics and specialists, on Sunday 14 Rajab 1444 AH corresponding to February 05, 2023 AD, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh. The Forum coincides with the International Day of Human Fraternity, adopted by the United Nations on February 04, to activate dialogue on coexistence and human fraternity and ways to enhance it globally, strengthen human relations and establish related rules based on respect for differences. The Forum aims to spread and root the concept of human fraternity in Islam, and highlight the progress made by the Kingdom in rooting this concept. It also seeks to strengthen the role of local community institutions and enable them to participate in consolidating the principles of human fraternity. The Center affirms that the Forum sheds light on the Kingdom's efforts and contributions that enhance human fraternity, and the role of governmental and private institutions and community institutions in rooting and supporting these concepts, and highlighting the progress made by the Kingdom in this field at the local and global levels. The Forum will discuss a number of aspects, most notably the legitimate rooting of the concept of human fraternity in Islam and its role in promoting positive values that stem from the teachings of the true Islamic religion, as well as the role of civil society institutions in promoting the values of human fraternity, and the responsibility of education and media in consolidating and spreading the principles of human fraternity. The forum will also discuss the Kingdom's efforts to promote human fraternity.
