G20 in Numbers: In Over 14 Meetings, Merkel is the Most Attendee Figure in G20 Summit Meetings

Over the 14 summit meetings that took place since 2008 and until 2019, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been the most attendee to all summit meetings.

While certain figures managed to be present at these meetings continuously, others have sent delegates on their behalf, and others were changed due to the nature of presidential election cycles. Italy has the most diversity in leaders participation due to their presidential system.
